My wife and I stayed at Silky Oaks lodge in May 2006 for our 35th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the stay immensly. When our 40th was approaching we were not sure where to go for a few days break, and when a voucher opportunity for Silky Oaks came along, it brought back good memories. We were not sure what to expect, as sometimes wonderfull first impressions become let downs due to your great memories being too much of an expectation the second time around.
I would like to advise all your staff of our extreme surprise, both on our arrival, and during our stay. Not only was the resort completely up to and above our wonderull memories, but the staff as well were well above all expectations.
From the moment of our arrival, we were treated like royalty. Reception, both at the desk and the concierge were smiling, happy and very helpfull. The presentation of the rooms was wonderfull and the food to die for.
We would be very gratefull if you could convey our extreme thanks and also our congratulations to each and every one of the staff, as their dedecation and expertise needs fully recognising.
Especially make note that we would appreciate the Chef and all of the wait staff knowing thet we have travelled Italy, Germany, france, Austria, and New Zealand, and nowhere have we experienced the quality and presentation of their World Class Restaurant.
Once again many thanks for the totally profecionalism of the resort, as well as the staff and I can assure you that on return to Brisbane, we will be informing all of our friends and relations of the delightfull experience which was well above all expectations, and a shear delight to have returned to a better than original experience.
